Bridge Insight : New Development in Long Span Arch Bridges
There are various tools to model the bridge and people are sometimes confused which modelling method is suitable for their projects. The webinar will discuss practical aspects of modelling a steel composite ladder deck bridge using midas Civil. It will demonstrate how to effectively use design tools for generating model geometry. It will also highlight model properties which require particular attention of the designer and provide guidance on their settings.
Additionally, we should simulate construction stages in the analysis considering accumulated results. Otherwise, the analysis won't take the forces and deforms of the actual bridge. A construction stage definition for the push launch bridge construction will also be demonstrated too.
This training will take a look at the bridges covered in : the previous ‘How I Design Bridge’ session
