Yin Hoe Ong
Director / Dr. Toh Associates Sdn Bhd (PrEng, Ph.D)
Ir. Dr. Ong Yin Hoe is one of the directors of Dr. Toh Associates Sdn. Bhd. He has more than 20 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. He has been appointed as an adjunct lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Petronas since 2022 and he is currently a co-opt member of Malaysian Geotechnical Society. He is enthusiastic about numerical engineering and regularly delivers lectures at the Midas conference.

Ir Leong Mun Yew
Director / YNY Consulting Engineer Sdn Bhd
Ir Leong Mun Yew was graduated from University of Malaya in 1999 with Bachelor Degree of Civil Engineering. He is corporate member of The Institution of Engineer Malaysia (IEM), Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) to Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM) and ASEAN chartered Professional Engineer.
He has more than 26 years experience in civil & structural engineering consultancy majoring in RC and Steel Structure for various types of project such as residential housing, commercial, industrial, civil works including earthworks, road and drainage, sewerage reticulation system and water supply system.
He has the experience of optimizing proposal based on various structural system and modular system such as prestress, precast, shear wall, transfer plate, composite structure, Pre-engineering, Light Gauge Steel (LGS) system, Steel Fiber Reinforced (SFR) Concrete.

Mohamed Hafez
Associate Professor / INTI International University
Associate Prof. Dr Mohamed Hafez is a dedicated researcher & lecturer in the field of engineering who graduated with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Alexandria University, Egypt. In addition to that, he was also awarded a M.Sc. in Coastal erosion protection of Mangrove shoreline and a PhD in his research relating to the ground improvement of the soft coastal ground and from University Malaya, Malaysia. Currently, he is cultivating the minds of future engineers as a lecturer at INTI-IU University – Malaysia. He works in collaboration with University UNITEN R&D and TNB (TNBR) since 2014.
He has also received more than 25 national and international gold and silver medal awards including the (WIPO) award as the Best Inventor coming from developing countries for the year 2005 related to water research and geotechnical design and invention, including Invention Geneva, ITEX Malaysia and Seoul International Invention.

Cheng Kim Bong
Chief Resident Engineer / AECOM
• Cheng Kim Bong is a doctorate graduate; a Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate registered with BEM and also obtained his Fellowship as a Professional Civil Engineer with IEM. He has over 40 years of experience managing significant civil engineering projects in Malaysia.
• He is now the Chief Resident Engineer for AECOM, who manages Section 7 & 8 of the 665-kilometer ECRL Project, which involve the longest tunnel in Malaysia. Before taking on the ECRL project, he was also the Senior Resident Engineer for a number of other significant endeavors in Malaysia, including the Kajang and Putrajaya Lines of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit, the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge, also known as the 2nd Penang Bridge, and many more.

Anmol Saxena
Structural Engineer / MIDAS IT
Anmol Saxena is a structural engineer with nearly three years of experience at Midas IT, specializing in technical support and holding a Master’s in Structural Engineering. Anmol collaborates with building and bridge engineers globally, providing expert guidance on technical queries and conducting workshops related to structural design and Midas software solutions.

Cheah Jen Ping
Senior Lecturer / INTI International University
Ir. Cheah received his BSc in Civil Engineering and MSc in Civil Engineering (Structures) from Montana State University and University of Washington respectively.
He has over 30 years of experience in structural design consulting.
He began his engineering consulting career in Seattle, Washington, working for ABKJ Inc. for seven years after obtaining his master’s degree in civil engineering. He had been involved in various designs of commercial, industrial building projects as well as bridge structures in Seattle.
In Malaysia, Ir. Cheah has worked for Freyssinet PSC (Malaysia), Eastern Pretech (Malaysia), Sinclair Knight Mertz and Meinhardt (Malaysia). While in Meinhardt (Malaysia), he was part of the management team for the design of 59-storey Petronas Tower 3. He specializes in the design of precast concrete structures and post-tensioned concrete structures. He also performs floor vibration analysis for floors sensitive to vibration effect.
Ir Cheah is currently a full-time senior lecturer at INTI International University and a part time free-lance consultant, providing consulting service for precast and post-tensioned concrete design.
